Agreed! I bought a 2017 edition when it was new. It's a great resource, lays flat and has the Scott number right with the image of each stamp. The only thing it doesn't have is date of issue, so I wind up using my Scotts when verifying older covers.
Hobby Lobby stocks this catalog, and you can use the perpetual 40% off coupon to buy it, I did! The coupon is always on their website, just Google "Hobby Lobby Coupon" and it will come right up. You don't have to print it, just show the cashier your phone.
Can someone post a picture?
I like the spiral version of Brookman since most stamps illustrated with catalogue number and includes most collectible varieties -- less on errors, etc. that Scott likes to focus on listing.
Got the catalog for Christmas! Here is an initial sample page from the USA section.
And another from the Canada section.
I'm definitely finding it a challenge to get scans that fit within the 350,000 byte image maximum. These are 3x5 inch sections at 150dpi.
Hi jbaxter,
I also scan books at 150 bpi but I then process these using the image optimiser tool that's available on the SCF forum site before posting them here.
I usually scan covers, books and stamps @300 ppi and save as a jpeg. I open in my "paint" program and resize so I can post on Stamporama. "Paint" was a program that came with windows. It took me awhile to figure that out but I find it is the easiest way for me to post scans here.

Microsoft Paint is great for just cropping and resizing. For posting screen shots, Paint is all you need.
I like the Harris catalog. I have a 2016 one. I like the way it's spiral bound and the pages can lay flat, and it's great to be able to identify stamps in color. The only thing missing that is in Scotts Specialized is the date of issue of each stamp. Otherwise I'd put away my ragy Specialized and just work with the Harris.
Hobby Lobby with the 40% off coupon and this catalog is a bit more than $10
I had an opportunity to check-out the new 2018 USA and North America catalog from H. E. Harris and must say that I was very impressed with it. They have dramatically increased the quality of the stamp images in the catalog and have full coverage for USA, Canada, and the United Nations. It was quite interesting that they provided pricing in VF, F, and Avg. grades at least for USA stamps.
They used a novel binding approach that I have not seen before where a hard cover binding surrounds a ring based binding for loose leaf pages. It allows it to lay completely flat.
Each stamp image identified the major numbers that use the same design which is much easier than scanning through the Scott catalog listing for the appropriate A... numbers.
