Its tough Dave, i recycle every `102 card i can..recently i was able to purchase a thousand large cards..i think they would be called 107s for 10 dollars...they are about 2 1/2 times the size of a 102 and not easy to store...but at least i can use them to send out stamps. I see where some people made their own with index cards and cellophane. It seems like a lot of work.
I recycle them as well. Nearly everything I buy from the US comes in 102's, so I suppose I should buy more stamps to get the 102's
My closest source is about 100KM (66 miles) South of me in Barrie, Ontario. Even though it is not that far from me, I also recycle them whenever I can.

This is the challenge with paper. It is heavy, and therefore costs a lot to ship. A Scott volume, a box of 1000 102 cards, $15+ to Southern Ontario. Stamp album pages and binders even more!
It matters not whether you ship via Canada Post, Purolator, DHL, whatever; they are all about the same.
Unfortunately, we are a paper hobby.

That's probably why 102's have never really caught on here. There has to be an opening for a wholesaler (puts on thinking cap........)
The tyranny of distance is at play here.
There isn't a supplier of 102 cards in Australia as far as I can tell. Buying them from North America takes the price up to 9-10c each, and red boxes are too expensive to ship.
Does anyone know of a reliable reseller of used supplies that may have 102's available?
Cheers
Dave
