I have an interest in perfins. Not doing much with them right now except putting them away for a rainy day. Are you interested in World Wide or just U.S.?
There is The Perfins Club.
There are many perfin collectors, most I think collect the perfins from one country, though I have heard that some collect worldwide perfins as well.
I collect US Control Perfins (Found only on 1909 - 1913 Schermack private perfed stamps)

Cover above from Stamp Smarter Control Perfin census. Cover from manufacturer of recreational equipment. Billiards tables, record players, bars and back bars. With the threat of prohibition they expanded their operation to bowling lanes and equipment. Very rare on cover. This pattern is also known on three John Wanamaker covers, April 1910, prior to a known Brunswick cover. Wanamaker had already purchased control pattern 5689, but reported covers show a time gap in this period that may indicate mechanical problem. Perhaps this control pattern was owned by a mailing service and neither Brunswick or Wanamaker actually owned the Schermack Mailing Machine with this control pattern.
Hi all!
Thanks for your great replies!
@Smauggie,
I just became a member of "The Perfins Club" earlier this week when I received my welcome packet!
@Parkinlot,
PM'ed you.
Thanks again!

Don that is one beautiful cover and I love the history write up. Those control perfins on cover are hard to find.In 30 years of bulk purchases and fast flipping cheap cover boxes I have only found one. And at that it is a stained cover so a difficult sell. I ended up keeping it - glad that I did as I've never found another.
This is what you need to keep an eye out for JohnnyRockets. The odd and unusual.
Nice cover! Here is another example
The hole patter is this
A bit more about your cover... The Babson Brothers were a mail order company supplying the Midwest. This control pattern is also found on many products that they sold. Burlington Watch, Edison Phonograph, Allen Vacuum Cleaner, Anglo American Insurance and The Insurance & Fidelity Co. Counting the several broken pin varieties known, they are most likely responsible for the most known Schermacks with control perforations reported.
There were a total of 117 of this control perf stamp known and only 23 of those on cover; I think yours raises these numbers by 1. I'll pass it along to Curt for inclusion in the census if you don't mind.

Carol, you may want to see if your all-in-one printer has a default reset. That will return it to factory settings.
Thanks Michael, it looks like it does. Want to go through the written and youtube details before attempting anything - it avoids that empty feeling in the millisecond after you press the button.

Hi all,
I'm just starting to collect Perfins.
Is anyone else interested in this area also?
Thanks,
