Issued 8 March 1990, scott number may be 791 but not having access to scott can't be sure about that
It is Scott 791, and Stanley Gibbons 763.
This is not meant to discourage anyone from posting their ID questions here, only to show you a convenient way to look up stamps, instead of waiting who-knows-how-long for a response. If you go to HipStamp, you can usually find what you are looking for with just a few kew words. In this case, I put in Ireland and chalice, and I dozens of listings that included either the Scott or SG number, with the added benefit of seeing actual representative selling prices, not inflated catalogue values.

Hope this helps.

Sounds too easy.
Beware using a simplified catalogue ( either Scott or Gibbons) for this.
It was printed on 2 different papers - ordinary and so-called chalky ( actually clay-coated I think ).Use of a u/v lamp will identify ( with this particular paper difference - but not for everything ).
The SG 1992 catalogue only shows a UKP 0.50 difference but it may be much more by now and for other stamps these differences can affect the value astronomically.
The simplified catalogues always show the cheapest variety. You can use the simplified to identify the basic design - use the Internet or a specialised catalogue to get the full story.
