Hi Benedicte,
This stamp is part of a series of stamps from the 1970's and 1980's issued unofficially for the region of Dhufar which lies within the SUltanate of Oman. Since they were unofficially produced the Scott catalog does not list these.
I very much enjoyed looking up your stamp as there is a bit of a story behind these stamps that is interesting to read. This website gives the history of the stamps if you are interested: Oman Philately Network
Oman stamps will always state the name of the country as the "Sultanate of Oman".
