United States/BOB & Other : Panama real overprint or reprint?

Hi everyone is the stamp below a real overprint or reprint as listed in the Scott cat. after number 64. I looked at Sc. No. 53 and there is no listing for an inverted overprint.Image Not Found

See the notes at the bottom of the listing where you found Scott #53.

The problem with this overprint is that it is a handstamp. Strikes on the stamp will vary based on how hard the overprint was applied, and how worn out the handstamp was at the time of use.

Not only should your question be whether the overprint is real or a reprint, but whether it is fake.

I can't answer that question, but I would think all three possibilities are in play with this stamp.
