What is the value of this German perfin stamp (Scott #129)? In the 2017 Scott Catalog a non-perfin stamp is valued at $2.25 US. As a perfin stamp does the value go up or down?

Thanks,
Don

P.S. Sorry the stamp is sideways. I tried to correct that, but could not figure out how to do it.

re: Value of a German perfin stamp

First off, the stamp in question is damaged (bad perforations and writing on the back), and thus will have little value.

As far as stamps with perfins in general, collectors who do not collect perfins will pay little for the stamp. Those who do collect perfins will pay depending on the perfin, and depending on how knowledgeable they are on such stamps. With that said, don't give up your day job.
