Could someone please explain why if I search on new books or by seller name I get a return but not when I search in category.
The books in question are #14056 and 14117 by Abacusboy4. Both books are Great Britain and I only found them because I looked in the new book section.

re: Finding books

Because the seller listed the books in the British Commonwealth Category, not the UK category.

re: Finding books

Thank you Michael, simple explanation which should have occurred to my lonely brain cell.

re: Finding books

It's an important point that you have made, and sellers should take note regarding it. If a seller wants an approval book to get maximum exposure to potential buyers, placing it in the correct category is essential.

Unfortunately, the system does not let us fix category errors on approval books. We can fix the misplaced auctions, but not the approval books.

re: Finding books

Guess technically GB is part of, or at least head of, the commonwealth but I agree it could have been placed better and maybe I would have bought more but some that I wanted were already gone by the time I found the books.
Such is life.

re: Finding books

True, however, since the books hold Great Britain stamps, and there is a specific category for the UK, placing the books under the UK category would have been the correct thing to do.
