Mr G's, would the name of the agency that printed the CORRESPONDENCIA URGENTE stamp label etiquette item not be a clue as to its country of origin?

I am not familiar enough with the agencies involved to make it out from your photo.

Cheers,

/s/ ikeyPikey

Edited to add: Spain issued several similar stamps. One from 1905, another in the 1920s, but yours has the agency name ...

The Esparanto is a group of Cinderella topicals that number in the many 100s of varieties from all over the world.
The serve a todos (serves everyone) would indicate Portuguese origin ?

SForgCa...many thanks.. I did realize that ESPARANTO was some sort of UNIVERSAL Language. What interesting, is that the stamp is cancelled. It may have been affixed to a letter with a valid stamp for postage.
