I know what the German language shade designations mean. I'm having trouble distinguishing between them. Is there a simple guide to the shades of the 1880 ten pfennig stamp?

I have a problem with the colors in the Michel catalogs. For some reason they keep changing the name of the colors, please don´t ask me why. Below is a example taken from "Michel Spezial 1993", 2006 and "Michel Deutschland 2016/2017".
Image Not Found Both middle red

Image Not Found Carmine red, brownish Carmine

Image Not Found Blackish pink, Dark pink red

And this one is from the "Philex Deutschland 1982/83". It uses the Michel system.
Image Not Found Both Carmine

Take your choice.

re: Michel 41 Shades

The stamps with michelnr 908, 909/910 and X/XI have all minor differences in their colors.

The "STAATSDRUCKEREI IM WIEN" was experimenting with 5 different color for those stamps.

I have seen those 5 different colors of the serie 909/910.

Maybe is that the reason why the Michel catalog has mentioned different colors in the timeperiod of about 20 years?

rot, braunrot, rosakarmin, dunkelrosarot and schwärzlichrosa are the colors they use nowadays in their catalog.

P.S.
You can not use the colors from a computer program!!!!!!!
