Image Not FoundHi All, Newbie here. I have some crazy looking cancels and wanted to share a couple here. Well, one is crazy and the other is double stamped. I'm into Antique postcards and don't know a lot about cancels, but thought they were interesting. Image Not Found

re: Crazy Cancel

I sold a book on eBay to a customer in Rancho Mirage, CA, and I live in New Hampshire. I transposed the last 2 numbers of the zip code.
What I do not understand, is when it got to California, and they could not match the zip to Rancho Mirage, doesn't anyone in the Post Office have a sharpie or a pen to change the zip?

Because of the price of the book I placed tracking on it and insurance, that book went back to Nashua, NH then to California 5 times in 3 months, before it was returned to me.
I saw my error, corrected the zip and sent it out.

The customer was very understanding.
