I collect only China, the English town name postmarks on Junk stamps. I tried looking at the web help sites, but it didn't help enough to do things like putting an arc of 5mm letters inside a 30mm circle, and then adding two cross lines for Chinese characters.

I used graphics apps which support ‘layers’ to trace cancels. By placing a new drawing layer on top of the original cancel, you can then trace the original cancel. When done tracing the original cancel, you can remove the lower original layer and you will be left with just your tracing. If I am drawing a lot of standard shapes like circles or arcs, I use a vector app like CorelDraw or AutoCAD. These apps also support layers so I add a new layer with the original cancel at the bottom.
