I have a series of 8 Yemen stamps such as these examples from the 1970 Philympia in London. Are these cinderella stamps? Can't find them in Scott. Can anyone tell me anything about them? Value?
Thanks.

These are listed in the Appendix after Yemen in SG. SG prefaces the appendix with this:

"The following stamps have either been issued in excess of postal needs or have not been available to the public in reasonable quantities at face value. Such stamps may later be given full listing if there is evidence of regular postal needs."

To expand on Dave's comment, Scott does not list stamps from the Mutawakelite Kingdom of Yemen. At least not yet.

Michel does list them under Yemen (Kingdom). Michel #1021 and #1022. They have minimal value.

re: Unidentified Yemen stamps

These are not listed in my 2005 SG Middle East catalogue.

Under "Royalist Civil War Issues" SG gives a full listing for 351 stamps issued from 1962 to late 1967 with catalogue numbers with an "R" prefix.

There is also an appendix giving a summary of unissued sets from late 1967 to early 1970.

They do not list the later sets such as this one.

The Yemen Arab Republic was just as bad at producing this kind of stuff at the time and SG includes their Philympia set in the Yemen appendix.

The YAR Philympia stamp designs are each dominated by a large PL exhibition logo.
