I just use regular stamp mounts for the self-adhesives. The stamps are a bit thicker, but sit in the mounts just fine.
The regular mounts usually work fine if you just use a slightly taller size mount due to extra thickness.
Not sure that Johnny was not asking about mounts that were self adhesive rather than mounts for self adhesive stamps.
Aha, self adhesive mounts. So no more licking the back side type mounts? I've never seen them. The only mounts I've seen are hinges, the Hawid & Lighthouse type mounts and the albums with mounts already in place, which are pretty much out of my price range. Although with all the mounts I've bought, maybe not so much!
Forgive me for being old-fashioned, but I try to keep away from anything self-adhesive when it comes to stationery, albums, office supplies and the like, and prefer such glues that stick properly when dry. Water-based is best in my book. It is bad enough (from an archivist's point of view) that we have self-adhesive stamps. Granted that chemists come up with new recipes for the glue every now and then, but who can really tell how it will behave in a couple of years time, convenient as it may seem for the moment? Environmental aspects left aside for now.

Post a link to a "self-adhesive stamp mounts". I have only seen lick and stick types so would never consider them as lick and stick work as I said and would avoid self-adhesive mounts and do not like self-adhesive stamps.

Ouch...almost 10 cents per mount.
Too expensive. I like to cut my own mounts.
They claim that they are removable without damaging the page. I wonder hoe long they will stay stuck to the page until the glue dries - not to mention if it is archival safe and a lot of other questions if you plan to use it for long term storage.
Hi all,
What does everyone think about Self-Adhesive Stamp Mounts?
Love 'em? Hate 'em?
A newbie needs to know!
