Hi to all

I am re-housing all my George V heads into better quality albums which in itself is a long process.
Each album is being done according to watermark, with the Penny Reds having their own album.

Doing this means that I am checking all the stamps, and have found varieties that I missed when originally checked the items.

This is possibly a constant variety as I found two, although slightly different.

Regards

re: GEORGE V REHOUSING PROJECT

if you're referring to the diagonal line, it looks to be a crease, not printing, as it extends into the white area outside the design.

And, as you say, they are different, so it can't be a constant flaw even IF it is in the printing phase

Hi amsd,

Yes, the one on the right extends outside the line, but the one on the left does not extend outside the design, so possibly it might be a variety.

Showing the back scans would help.

Seems to me the lines extend into the margins on both sides of both stamps. I’ll vote with David on this question.
