Does anyone has any experience with the SHERLOCK electric watermark or anything similar?

Thank you

I haven't used the device that you mention, but I use the Morley Bright watermark detector. It works quite well for me but I have seen mixed reviews on it.

re: SHERLOCK electric watermark

I have the Sherlock watermark detector and I like it. Is it perfect? No but makes checking some watermarks easier due to time to study since often all one can see is parts due cancellations, front design features, etc. I have found some that I never saw under fluid (like some more modenn thick paper stamps) and there are occasions where fluid works better.

It works using pressure. The more pressure the clearer it will be. The stamp has to be flat such as no hinge remnants to get best results. It has 4 color led's and there is a white one that makes a shade (blue, light blue, red, light red, etc) and the brightness can be adjusted. It works best in indirect light room light. It operates from 4 AA batteries.

It works for me since I do not have the experience with being able to spot them quickly. k This gives you time.
