Dear Stamporama friends,
I'm trying to get a little more info re this label. I'm guessing that it was produced by a US group supporting survivors of the failed 1956 uprising. Any ideas?

I have never seen this "stamp". At a guess I would say that it was issued in one of the English-speaking countries to raise funds in the aftermath of the 1956 Hungarian uprising.

I'm not familiar with it either. could be 56; just as likely post WWII as the US had a huge Hungarian population (Cleveland was the second largest concentration of Hungarian after Budapest; I guess because it was bisected just like the Hungarian capital with a river).

Nice label.
