I got a copy of #386 in the mail today from a Hipstamp seller. It really looks the same as my #383 which is supposed to be dark blue. Could someone out there who has both please post a picture showing both together so I can see the difference in the shades? I just compared #'s 398 and 401 where the difference between dark blue and light blue is very obvious. I assume #' 383 and 386 should be the same! Can anyone help?

The difference in the blues for 383 to 386 are not nearly as obvious as 398 to 401

401 is cobalt blue and shows up quite well - 383 to 386 are obvious side by side but appear more as a darker and lighter shades of the same blue.

here's my 398 to 401

Thanks Robert, that's a huge help. I think I'm OK since I can see a small difference between my 383 and 386. The two blues are much closer than between 389 and 401, as you also show in your two sets. I seem to have trouble buying blue stamps. I bought a Nova Scotia number 2 (light blue) that actually turned out to be #3 (dark blue). I now have three number 3's, two full stamps and a bisect tied to piece, but have yet to pick up a #2. I wasn't too upset with my re-purchase of #3 since the price was very fair. But one of these days I'll find a #2!! Thanks again for your help, I'm fairly sure I actually have both stamps!
