It's not a cancel it's an overprint.
This was a standard part of the design of many early postal stationery items from the German States.

any value to it?
I'm afraid not. There's not much interest in cut-outs.
Got it,...... thanks Nigel
Hey "bigcreekdad". Do you want to do a trade?

This stamp appears to have been cut from a page of a stamp album. What appears to be a cancellation is on the upper right ("schilling post.."). I'm suspicious. SG values this stamp unused at around 10 pounds. However, if used, value goes to over 12 times that.
Experts?
