Many thanks for the link. It was most useful in providing more information on these two items, which I found in a very old wallet belonging to my father, long since deceased.
I am old enough to remember having a card for these just before they were phased out. The employer used to put a stamp on the card every week and honestly I am not sure what you did with the card, probably posted it off.
The stamps illustrated would be from pre 1971 (i thought it was 72 until I looked it up) when decimal currency was introduced.
They are probably from the 1950s or thereabouts. not postage stamps but I believe were used for payments to the british national Health System.
