Unable to research this cancel without finding any background, does anyone have any factual background on this cancel "Blue River Gold Ex"?

A quick search for Blue River Gold Exchange turns up 2 gold mining areas with Blue River in the name.
Gold was found in the Blue River Valley of Colorado in 1859 - part of the Pike's Peak or Bust.
Later in 1887 gold was discovered in what became the Blue River Mining District in Lane and Linn Counties, Oregon.
This area produced gold through the 1920s.
Maybe a couple of areas for further research.
