Is any SOR member an active collector of Brazil definitives 1920-1941? Which I refer to as the "vovo serie".

Cheers.

"'That's just it,' said the Hemulen in despair. 'It's finished. There isn't a stamp, or an error that I haven't collected. Not one. What shall I do now? ''Nature study!' declares the Hemulen. 'I shall botanize'. "

re: Brazil: vovo serie

I collect Brazil as well, but I have a love-hate relationship with the Vovo's. They are fascinating and intimidating. I have identified many of the different watermarks but can't really find any real drive to go through the heaps of duplicates in order to find the ones that are still missing. Right now I focus on the rest of Brazil, which is quite a task even without the Série Vovo.

this is a great overview for anyone interested: http://bigblue1840-1940.blogspot.com/20 ... l
