I thought I was wrong once, but I was mistaken.

The pictured stamps are a pair that has been double printed. The image is of Spain, Scott #244 ( I believe). However, #244 is perf 14, while the pair I have is imperf. The paper is very thin. I cannot find any information. Any help would be appreciated.

It appears to me the second print is inverted.

Yes, it is inverted. I am guessing that the sheet was fed in the presses twice, but in reverse the second time. Still trying to figure out the imperf vs perf.

Is there anything on the reverse important to see?

Nothing on reverse. As I mentioned, the paper is thin. Thinner than a normal stamp would be. Almost reminds me of a wrapper.

Have your measured the thickest of your example and an known perf. example? If so what are the results?

Never thought to check Ebay. Just as DannyS and Stampcollector indicated, appears to be printer's waste. Ebay has one on sale for $99. Since I have a pair I will sell for $99 plus $30 shipping to cover Ebay fees. Rolling On The Floor Laughing Applause

PS: I also have a single I will give away to the first to respond via SOR message.
