After almost 8½ years I finally own a blue £1 thin paper Coat-of-Arms, well centred and mint unhinged. The thin £1 blue is very seldom seen in any condition, and to find one in the condition I preferred had made the search even more difficult.

I was sent a camera phone image of the stamp and I have added that image to the presentation (I will be receiving it soon). In reality the stamp is dull blue, same shade as the stamp at the top right.

But the collection is still not complete as there are proofs, roller flaws and major varieties to collect, but to find the £1 thin paper made my week.

All the high value stamps are very rare (£1 & both £2 thins), but the high value stamps (5/-, £1, £2 (without the roller flaw) make a complete set.
