What is "Right and Proper Canadian Stamps"? I've not heard that terminology used.

Good morning
Would like a reference to a catalog for Canadian stamps that is still in business and continues to publish catalogs! Unitrade is going out of business or is out of business now!
1898
Good morning 1898,
Unitrade Associates is still in business. Linns Stamp News (see https://www.linns.com/news/world-stamps- ... ) has reported that the owner wants to sell the business and retire. If that happened, someone else would take responsibility for issuing the catalog, and would not automatically mean the end of the business.
Do you have some other information that the business is already closed?
Before any of us go diving into researching catalogues on your behalf, perhaps you could tell us which you have looked at, online or physically. The main English text ones are Unitrade, Scott, Stanley Gibbons, these all being for postal issues.
There are revenue stamp catalogues but probably not issued on an annual basis.
Of the above catalogues the most information, in my opinion, is contained in the Unitrade. It is also spiral bound so lays flat when viewing pages.
Maybe use Google or a web browser to see what is available.
Unitrade issued a 2023 catalogue, on sale on their website: https://www.wizardcoinsupply.com/the-202 ...

@Everyone
I have no good info on the Unitrade catalog, but until the future is certain, I'd rather put my money into a cat. for now and future, I'm sure everyone understands this.
I have not looked at Scott's or the S.G. yet online or otherwise.
I was hoping someone on SOR could give me good info for a recommendation for a cat.
Very and right and proper thanks to everyone, I'll go someplace else for the info.

I edited the original post and made the long URL a proper link so you can now simply click on it to go to the external website.
Latest comment from a stamp dealer who personally knows the Unitrade owner is they will publish one more Canadaian Catalog and then out of buisinees. The business has been for sale but no takers and the owner is now 84.
FYI
@dell4c
Thank you.
Doesn't make any sense to me to consider Unitrade cat. now.
Again thank you and good day.

I would venture a guess that if no one buys the entirety of the business that Canadian Stamp News would express interest in the Catalogue. That being said, Unitrade uses the Scott Numbering system, so it would only be the varieties Robin Harris lists as the editor that would be missing.
That being said what is it exactly that you require for Canadian Stamps? Scott is handy and provides values in USD which is good if you are in the US. Stanley Gibbons' Canada and Provinces is an excellent work and is comprehensive and a great companion to their Commonwealth and Empire Catalogue.
Personally, I think the best Canadian Catalogue is the Darnell Catalogue. Unfortunately, the latest edition is dated 2005.
@alyn
Thank you!
My interested in Canadian stamps is only 1880-1940 years!
I was unaware of the Darnell Catalogue.
I will try to get a copy of the Darnell Catalogue!
Again many thanks.

Got a chance to see the current Unitrade catalog today for the first time while looking for Canada 166 and 166b stamps which use different dies where the most defining difference is the size of the interior of the dot in the letter P of the word postage. The Canadian dealer took time to show me the pictures showing the differences found in the Unitrade catalog which are excellent.
Would like a reference to a catalog for Canadian stamps that is still in business and continues to publish catalogs, for Right and Proper Canadian stamps, must be printed in English?
