Back when I had a bunch! I think, therefore I am - I think! Descartes, sort of!

I wasn't sure where to put this but since there is an incredible amount of fantastic information in this book on early Canada stamps I decided to put it here. There is so much information in this 610 pg book I wouldn't know where to start. I just got it this morning and have only had a quick book but there is information here that is probably nowhere else. Some of it might be a bit dated but since it was very close to the issue time of many of the stamps it might have information no other book has. Any one who collects BNA (Canada, provinces, Bahamas, first flights, etc., etc.) really should look for this. It seems to have it's own numbering system (?) and, of course, the prices are a bit out of date, but there is information there that would be hard to find elsewhere especially BoB stuff.
The seller was in hospital for a while and was slow getting me the book. That's very understandable but he insisted on refunding about one third of what I paid because of the delay! I actually told him not to bother but he insisted. I'd definitely buy from him again!!
In a few days I'll get a friend to scan part of the table of contents and post it here. It does very little on the US except there is a section on US stamps used in Canada. Most of the book is centered around Canada and it's provinces plus Newfoundland which didn't become a province until 1949. My wife's father knew many people who insisted that Canada joined Newfoundland on March 31, 1949 - almost April Fool's Day! Fascinating stamp information all through the book!!!
