It would be good to list what you collect.
The app I use on my iPhone is "Stamp Identifier." I just use the free version with ads but the ads are not horrible. The Pro version (which I assume does not have ads) is $5/mo or $29/yr. I use it only to find really obscure stamps and it has not failed me yet.
There are several apps with the same name - the one I use has this icon:

Thanks for the recommendation.
I find "Search Google by Image" to be very helpful. It doesn't always find the stamp you are looking for, but it is a very helpful and time saving web app. https://keywordtool.io/image-search
I find the Colnect site very useful for stamp identification.
I can usually identify the country without help but being able to search by a combination of face value, theme, date etc. usually gets me to the right stamp very quickly, or at least reduces my options to a small number for further checking of watermark, die etc.

For US stamp's try my friend Roger's:

Hi everyone. I stepped away from my collection for a few years but I’m finally able to come back to it. I have tried a stamp identification app but was extremely disappointed that 95% of the time it was ads.
Is there an app that is working well for anyone? I have so many stamps to go through. I can’t spend that amount of time waiting for ads to finish. It’s crazy. I don’t mind paying a fee if it’s worth it. Any suggestions are welcome!
Edit: I am collecting mainly US and Canadian stamps right now.
