


I think he is referring to US revenue stamp r249. I checked ebay and there are about 12 listed but I couldn't spot the double transfer.
A link to the stamp would help.

I'm sure it must be there but I couldn't pick it out either. The old eyes aren't what they used to be!
While I was there I went down a bit and bid on three dated reds I didn't have, R679 - R682, with only 10 minutes left. I didn't get them of course but I bid as high as I was willing to pay so no great loss!!!!
Look at the "E" in five, also look at "$500" mostly in the upper left corner and there abouts!
See the image, "WARNING" this is my image which is a different position then the one on ebay, but it shows what you should look for. This image is a double transfer with additional twisted transfer!
I find it easier to invert the stamp which the double transfer shows better!

I just pointed out what I call Pick up points (PIP) there are more areas that are doubled and twisted on thIs stamp!

Currently there is a nice easy to spot double transfer on ebay on r249
