It really seems like that there are certain fairly common Poland stamps that never seem to show up! Of course I'm missing quite a few of the early overprinted stamps but most of them are fake anyway. Also thanks to a seller here I have a fairly good selection of local stamps. My wife and I started Poland in the early 1970's because she liked the animal stamps!

It has probably been a year since I've added a Poland stamp to my Minkus album. Now I admit I haven't looked on E-Bay for a while, I'm getting away from E-Bay because of the shipping prices of many of the sellers. I seem to buy here for the most part and very little Poland ever comes up on offer and rarely anything I don't have. I was looking through a book from Bob Bidner and came to a page containing a few stamps from Poland and one of them didn't look familiar. Sure enough, it was one I was missing!! I felt happier spending that 10 cents than if I had found a US or Canada classic! Thanks Bob, for 10 cents you made my day!!!
