This actually took me aback. I'm used to safety on the roads, stamp out TB and so on, but this is out of the box!

re: A Saskatchewan Slogan Cancel I Hadn't Seen Before

Post WWII and the return of troops. Need we say more?

If I get a chance later today, I'll check the catalog of Canadian Slogan Cancels for other, similar phrases and cities for this one.

re: A Saskatchewan Slogan Cancel I Hadn't Seen Before

Seven cities in SK used this slogan from 1945 to 1948

Moose Jaw
Prince Albert
Saskatoon
Yorkton
North Battleford
Regina
Swift Current

There were also two versions of: "STAMP OUT VD !" used across the country from 1944-1947. In English only from 19 different offices and a bilingual version: STAMP OUT VD! ENRAYONS LE MAL VENERIEN from 12 Quebec post offices from the same years.

HELP RETARDED CHILDREN (in various english and bilingual versions) was used as late as 1972 from 75 different cities.

The definitive guide to Canadian slogan postmarks is Cecil C. Coutts "Slogan Postmarks of Canada". Spiral bound, 284 pages.
