Love the exhibit. I miss Washington and Lincoln having their individual birthdays celebrated. Frankly I think it is a great disservice to both presidents to combine them into one day that mentions neither of them.

I had intended to post this earlier yesterday but was distracted.
Today was President's Day, a national holiday that began to honor George Washington and Abraham Lincoln's birthdays, and morphed into a more generic federal holiday.
To celebrate this day, I worked with my local library to display an exhibit of Postmaster Commission documents signed by a series of US Presidents from Andrew Jackson (1836) through William Howard Taft (1911).
