I believe the United Kingdom joined the UPU on 1 July 1875. Although the ISO code assigned for the UK was GB (for Great Britain), they have traditionally used UK to encompass Northern Ireland as well. What you have shown is the entry date for the 'Overseas Territories'. I hope that provides some clarification.
