I looked this up in my Precancel Stamp Society catalog, seventh edition 2009. It is L-9, the same as L-1 but wider spacing. There are at least 12 different types of precancels for Stuart and I've never really studied how this catalog works but they give this stamp a value of $1, the most expensive is an L-11 at $15. The catalog is 2 volumes and essential if you collect precancels. I don't actually use it often since I only collect precancels for fun in very specific areas. It was sent to me free of charge by a member here. I don't really understand it properly but all bureau and local precancel types are listed for each state, DC and the possessions.
I collect the odd FL pre-cancel.
If your selling let me know!

Thank You for the insight
Totally irrelavent, but I have spent a long time in Stuart as my father-in-law lived there until he passed in 2018. Know the area pretty well (except for confusion corner, geez).
Anyone know what value this precancel may have? Small town FL population 1922 less then a thousand'. Also became a official town around this time.
