I like these two and I think I picked them up here! One is an early(ish) cover for a Scott's Junior news letter from 1897 and the other with the Native logo has an interesting railway cancel and is from 1900.

Thanks Ernie, it's one of my favourites as well. I don't have a huge collection of covers but occasionally I see the odd one that I can't resist! Just be thankful that not everyone soaked the stamp off the cover and threw the rest away! How many wonderful covers have been lost that way?

A short history from Wikipedia on John Walter Scott! I wonder how collectible some of his early material is.

Three nice covers that I'm not sure if I've shown or not. I think I picked the first two here and the third one is a nice Canada cover given to me by the sister of the Fiander on the cover. I know it shouldn't be included with this post but what the heck! If you've already seen these please just ignore my post!

The top two covers look like they have green cancels to me but I've read somewhere that blue cancels on yellowed covers appear green. Any comments on this?
IMHO the first one is green and the second is blue, I'm not sure though and colours show up differently on different monitors. I'm making my judgement from the original covers!
