Some Canada coil strips have the same variety! The differences are smaller but they do exist!
EDIT: I was wrong in what I said. The only examples I can find are 87i and 88i - I have the 87i with different spacing, hard to spot but they are there. I'm pretty sure I have others but I can't seem to find them!!

In case anyone was wondering, here's an explanation for the 2mm and 3mm spacing from the Scott catalog. The variation was not used on all plates. Durland has the listings for each stamp separated based on the marginal imprint, which includes an open star on plates that used the different spacing.

Here's my copy of 87i. Unitrade value is listed at $120 with a 200% bonus for mint NH.

I just found another variable spacing in my album. It's a Canadian official, O4i. I'll show a picture of the strip of 3 later!!

Harvey,
Since 1899's original post was about the spacing between the printed stamp designs, I looked at your Canadian stamps for a long time trying to see the same difference. Had to get out the Unitrade Catalog for assistance. Unitrade says the different spacings are 7mm and 4mm. It was only then that I realized that the different spacings applied to the overprint, not to the space between stamps. Curiously, the Unitrade doesn't specify that.

Thanks for pointing that out. There is a small difference in the spacing between stamps as well, but only minor. I was iffy about whether that was the only difference so thanks for pointing out the overprints! With the official strip I have it's the same!!
EDIT: The fact that it's the spacing between the overprints that's important in the Canada stamps certainly explains, at least it seems to, why the non overprinted stamps don't have the same variety. I'll be posting O4i tomorrow where the different spacings is between the O.H.M.S. overprints instead of the stamps themselves. With 1899's original post it was totally different, it was between the stamps themselves. I haven't, as far as I can remember, run into this with Canada.

Here's my copy of Canada O4i with spacing difference between the two O.H.M.S. overprints.
Not super rare but a nice item! Arrows and approximate distances between the O.H.M.S. (On His Majesty's Service) overprints (only used for one year on Canadian official stamps) added. I hope this is OK!

Note: When I first loaded this picture it was sideways again and had to be fixed which I can easily do now. And this from a camera that previously was not a problem! Very annoying!!
EDIT: Can anyone of you show a normal strip of three from this series, my copies on the officials O1 to O4 are all singles. Another variety that exists for many of these officials is the "missing period after the "S" in O.H.M.S.". I have one of these, O1a, they tend to be relatively rare and more expensive!
Very nice photo!
What is the spacing measurement?
Which overprints?
Suggest adding arrows!
Maybe you could do like I did in OP, with arrows and measurements!
Just a suggestion!

YOU DO IT YOUR WAY, I'LL DO IT MY WAY!!

If I decide to add arrows and measurements I prefer not to mess up the image of the stamps. We all have different ways of doing things and no one has the right to push their way onto someone else. Yours looks great but I prefer my way. No insult intended!

United States of America, Scott number 331 series of 1908-1909
2MM and 3MM spacing see scans and arrows
close up see arrows and words
Wash/Franklin stamps 1908-1921 are so much fun and easy to ID!
Plate Varieties abound on this series, over 66 years I have a couple thousand I've IDed.
