I just picked out a selection on mint Newfoundland airmails. The numbers: C8 (no Wmk.), C11 (Wmk.), C18, C12, C2, C3.
I have all Nfld. airmails except for the ones with silly prices, C1, C1a, C4 and C5 - those 4 are out of reach!!! Those 4 are for special flights, very few were printed and they are incredibly expensive. I did buy fakes for these four but they are all marked "FAKE" on the reverse and next to the stamps on the page. I don'tusually buy fakes but I did with these!

I remember a post a while ago concerning these stamps where someone was upset about the swastikas on some of them. I sort of remember someone saying something like "were the Newfoundlanders Nazis?". We have to remember that this symbol was, and especially in Native communities, still is considered to be a symbol of good luck. This has been true for a very long time!!
