What do you mean got the hour right? The cancel is Nov 18th 1918, the hour has nothing to with it, other than noting the hour it was cancelled.
I did not put arrows onn, didn't think it was necessary. I should have put arrows on the "15" and the "C" in the wavely line part of the cancel!

I was seeing what I thought was there, not what is. I thought it was cancelled armistice day and at 11 o'clock, giving it the eleven trifecta. I was mistaken. it's just a day and hour.
just goes to show that we sometimes (often) don't see what's there, but what we expect.
