Greetings guys!

I wanna start a philatelic collection containing postage stamps, Maximum Cards, postmarks, postal cards, FDCs, postal stationery, covers, and other philatelic items necessarily containing face values of 1 million or higher denominations (items from inflationary times).

In which category does this type of philatelic collection fit better according to the Fédération Internationale de Philatélie (FIP) rules and guidelines (General Regulation of the FIP for exhibitions/exhibitors)? Traditional philately? Thematic philately? Postal history? Other?

Thank you in advance!

Cheers!

My assumption from your description would be thematic philately given the expressed theme of "inflationary times items".

I don't know FIP rules, so can't answer that; however, were I to collect this, it would follow my own postal history approach for any country: collections according to time, rate, destination, and any ancillary markings.

Welcome to SOR; hope you enjoy and benefit from being here.
