I knew I had seen them before
They are Iran postal tax stamps. They have several watermarks to identify more specifically

The last two appear to be used on telegraphs-see note in scott cat.

One id question. Is this an imperf? or a cut square, from what?

Morning, you just had too! That's one reverse printing error I haven't seen..very nice

So, coffee..check..breakfast..check..
Here's what I know about your stamp..
1914-1923.Ahmad Shah Postal Cards.
You cut square must be thicker paper than normal stamp paper thickness. So that makes it a cut square, imo...of course windows update..I'll post photos in a few..dang updates..
