I am breaking down an extensive holding of (mostly mint) Australia, and I am having to do double the work because my Australian buyers need Gibbons numbers (of course!)
I have decided that, rather than look them up one at a time, I'd be better off spending some time to build a cross check list, translating Scott numbers to the equivalent stamp in Gibbons. Probably won't take too long, because I really just need it for the Kangaroos and KGV.
However, before I started, I just wanted to ask if anybody has one already done, and if they'd be willing to share. No point in re-inventing the wheel.
If I get no response, I'll start work on it. I'd be happy to have collaborators, who would be willing to check my results, and in exchange have the use of the list (which, of course, will not be published).
Just to be clear, I have both catalogues. I just want a translator to avoid having to look them up in both.

My main collection is Australia. I have the Scott and Gibbons #'s under each of the stamps in my Albums. My KGV is complete and I am missing 7 Kangaroos.
I don't have the time tonight but if you want I can give you the numbers for each, maybe tomorrow. I can just do them on this thread.
They will be coming from a Seven Seas Stamp album.

I have the list already prepared upto the year 2000 or 2004 - there are also ACSC numbers and other description. All this in MS Excel worksheets. Now the question is do you want the list according to Scott numbers or by SG numbers? I have both ready to send as e-mail attachment - I will send the whole list so if there is some confusion you can check the stamp description. Send me an e-mail with your e-mail ID where attachments could be sent.
