Canada/Stamps : 1915 War Tax Wine strips

Thought I'd share these with you all. Picked these up yesterday at the National Stamp Show down in Toronto.
These are van Dam #sFWT24 and 25. Used as excise on imported wines to support the war effort.
Exceptionally nice examples, these rarely survived the cork popping.

There is another issue (FTW19-23) with His Majesty's head the right way up.
Nice, huh?

A Service Dog gives a person with a disability independence. Never approach, distract or pet a working dog, especially when (s)he is in harness. Never be afraid to ask questions to the handler (parent).

For sure! I just pick up some more Canadian revenues a few weeks ago. Guess that officially expands my interest to international revenue collecting !Big Grin
