Offices in the Turkish Empire... this is design A16 according to Scott, and it is Cat #33
Now if you are lucky to have a Perf 12.5x10.5 (33b), or with varnish bars (33a)... otherwise, pretty common.
rrr...
Thanks so much! I have yet to figure out how to find out whether there are varnish bars or not on the Austrian stamps - that is one of my most frustrating parts of identifying Austria!!!
At least I now know I'm not crazy and thank you for identifying this one for me

Your stamp has varnish bars, that is what those diagonal yellowish bars are.
I collect early Austrian Empire stamps.
Could someone help me out on this stationary ? When it came out ? and the value ?
Interesting arrival cancel 62B of Hong Kong on this Austrian Post Office in the Ottoman Empire....
This one totally has me stumped and I'm obviously missing something.
It looks like it should be one of the Offices in the Turkish Empire - such as Scott design A5 but.... it doesn't match. So what am I missing? Where does this actually belong?
