Thanks Jacques, i used to pick up hardcopies at the Albany show when John Nunes was very involved with the Insider !
Reviews of websites of interest to philatelists will be a regular column in the Stamp Insider. Steve Swain and I welcome your suggestions or favorite sites. I am also seeking and airmail columnist.

Phil -- There isn't a day that goes by when I don't think of John Nunes, who was the driving force and my inspiration in reinventing a very tired newsletter as a journal.

Editor, Stamp Insider
Albert, Steve Davis, Saleem Khan, and Michael G are all extremely knowlegeable about air mail. i am sure there are others, too.
I believe John had the biggest heart of any collector/dealer i ever met !!!
Thanks Jacques for posting the link to the article. And thank you Steve Swain for writing the article. An excellent read and it is great to get the news about Stamporama out to a wider audience.
Regards ... Tim.
Nice article. I saw that Steve mentioned the stamp tournament...too bad that it has since ended, or was he mentioning it so that I would start it up again?
I'll let the guy from Florida run his for a while now.
A nice interesting article
With Steve's assistance we've posted a copy of the Stamp Insider review here on the SOR site in the articles section: StampoRama Review at Stamp Insider
John Nunes was a personal friend, mentor and frequent visitor to my storefront until I became too ill to continue the business on a regular basis. We always nset up our tables across from one another at the Syracuse shows and the continual banter between us was both refreshing and a lot of fun. We were both very active in the Central NY Federation and instrumental in working with Al Starkweather in enthusiastically supporting Al in making the Stamp insider what has grown to be today. He is missed and I, like Al, think about John on a daily basis. Every time I pick up an intere3sting cover, I imagine John looking over my shoulder and commenting on it.
There's another nice write up of StampoRama in the July-August issue of Stamp Insider on page 65, by Brian McGrath of the New Haven CT Stamp Club. Titled, "The Origins of StampoRama"
