Club Business & Announcements/Tech Advice : Activating "on hold" auction items in batches?

I listed three sets of auction items that I'd like to activate at different times but when I go to activate "on-hold" items, it doesn't give me an option to activate only some of them. Is there a way to activate hold items in batches, or at least can we have a way to tag items we'd like to activate from our list of items?

Thanks.
Peter

No help here? I guess that means no to the batch processing of Hold items, and no to the possibility of selecting items to activate. Oh well; put it on my wish list I guess.

I add the new items without activate. Then when I want to activate I go to edit where you can activate at the bottom of the page individually..

That is what I'm going to have to do, but it is very laborious if you have many items. I have about 30 that I want to list today, but forgetting how it is currently set up, I've put another 14 on hold too. I'll have to go and inactivate the 14 individually, then when I am ready to activate them, do so individually again. That's why I wondered if we can do a targeted batch activation of certain items, or at least a toggle function to do this.

Peter,
Wouldn't it be easier to activate them all at the same time and just let them close at the same time. The whole purpose that I created the Hold function was so that you could put a batch together and release the all at the same time.

re: Activating "on hold" auction items in batches?

I have limited time to set up items for auction; I typically do this during one day, so what I thought to do was to get all items placed on hold, and release batches of 30 or 40 every few days. I prefer to stagger my auction sets, especially if they are different themes or countries, across different days. Again, just my way of doing things; as you know from the approval book discussions, I'm not one for a large number of items at one time.
