I've sent packages with the stamp, and received packages with the stamp. Am I missing something of significance here?
Dan C.
No, nothing of significance other than just curiosity. Since the denomination is a high one, I was curious how many covers have been either mailed or received correctly rated for the service used versus purely philatelic usage. IE: First Class letter rated envelope franked with the $2 stamp would likely be purely philatelic souvenir, etc.

I have over 200 of the inverted Jenny stamps. I use them whenever I can. If the postage is close to $2, I use one of the stamps. I recently used an entire sheet on a mailing where postage was over $12.00.
The $25,000 advertised buy offer is not for the inverted Jenny sheet. It is for the upright Jenny sheet.
Over the last six weeks I have received a number of solo Jennys on "flats" along with meters to pay the correct rates.

I do APS circuits that use the small USPS Priority Mail flat rate boxes. I have been mailing with two Inverted Jennies and a block of 4 imperf Harry Potter stamps.
I have received several with one or two Jennies or them.

I use them mostly on international shipments, but also some domestic orders. For first class packages within the US, a 4 oz flat envelope non-machinable (i.e., rigid, unbendable) will cost $2.50 to ship. So far, I've bought 5 of those panes and used two and a half (so about 18 stamps) for shipments.

Hello All,
We've seen the offer to purchase price (at least from one dealer) of the Jenny sheet zoom to rather dizzying heights: The dealer was offering $25,000 in the April APS mag!
Down here on Earth, I'm curious how many of you have received covers with the upside down Jenny used alone or in combination with other stamps to make a correct rate? I think Michel allows ten percent over the amount of a correct rate without penalty and that is good enough for me.
So far, I have received 7 covers using the Jenny but none with a solo example: All of mine are the correct rate for the service although they are all sent to me from stamp dealers.
How many on here have used a Jenny $2 stamp alone or with other stamps on their mailings?
