Some of you may have seen my recent thread seeking advice on arranging my stamp collection. I have decided to go with binders and printing out my own sheets.

I am looking at a turn bar binder from Lighthouse. It seems to look rather nice compared to a three ring binder. Any experience, pro's, or con's anyone can give me on this type of binder would be great.

I've been thinking of putting my pages in plastic page protectors to protect the stamps. Will this work for this type of binder?

I use Lighthouse's Vario G binder.

They look like this:

You may not find the 5-pack to suit your needs, but this ebay seller sells them quite inexpensively.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/5-NEW-Lighthouse-Red-Vario-G-Classic-Binders-50-off-/290825822489?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item43b691e119

They cost about 2-3x a normal office supply binder of the same size but they are beautiful, leather bound, gilt chased and come with their own slipcase.

That is beautiful and seems to combine funcionality with aesthetics perfectly. Exactly what I am looking for. Unfortunately that seller doesn't ship to Canada. I wonder where in Canada I could find these binders.

I also love the look of the Davo Canada album but it doesn't seem possible to purchase the binder without the pages.
