General Philatelic/Identify This? : Canadian war savings certificate

I have received several 25cent WAR SAVINGS CANADA stamps. I am wondering if anyone can tell me how to distinguish whether they were issued for WWI or WWII (1941)On ebay there seems to be the same stamps written up by two different sellers saying two different wars...HelpConfused Cheryl

If your stamps are like these…

then they're WWII stamps.

King George V was pictured on WWI stamps:

If you look at the aircraft it is obviously WW2 - nothing that modern around in 1918 !!

Quite true but I didn`t have a stamp showing an aircraft in the few that I was trying to date....
