Hi Tinman & everyone;
No I have never done this. First question, will there still be enough margin around the stamps? If you can find binders with slightly larger covers.
Take a ruler to office supply store, and some three ring punched sheets. Place sheets in rings and close them. Now measure the extra cover material that goes past the sheet edges. Write down the store and binder brand and note the overlap of the covers. Just looking at the binders next to each other won't work. It depends on diameter of the rings with respect to cover size.
You need a paper cutter to do this, and it has to have adjustable dead stops, for repeatable cuts. It's not as expensive as it sounds. Mine is an X-acto brand, knife style cutter. Do not get a rotary cutter, most of them are junk, and they are very hard to learn how to use and get repeatable results. The X-acto cutter is about $49, that is when I bought mine about 8 years ago.
One just like mine for $49.00, but if you shop around you can find it cheaper. The X-acto model is #26312.
Good luck

I have the office type One arm paper cutter and a three hole page paper punch. The Harris pages have a border and I can trim up to the borders and leave them on the edges or make the pages just a little smaller and cut them completely off. Yes there will still be enough between the edges and the stamps however I would have to leave the inside border on the page next to the new holes.
Has anybody tried trimming Harris Album pages and punching them to fit a three D ring binder? If you have tried it. Do you have any advice as I am considering doing this. The pages are 9x12 now and I'll be trimming them to 81/2 x 11 inches. A standard size.
