I have handled most GB FDCs, and I have never seen an FDC of the 1997 re-engraved issues. The First 4 values of the set were released in 1992 and the 3 pound in 1995.
The Stanley Gibbons GB Concise Catalogue does not list an official FDC of the 1997 re-issue. So, I would guess, if there are any FDCs of this issue, they are privately produced from local post offices.

I can find no first day cover with all four 1997 castles combined. However, they were issued as a presentation pack set, as I found a number listed in the UK with a Google search.
Try the following:
gb 1997 castles stamp issue presentation pack (you may have to tweak your search to include the UK).
As these are high value definitives and not commemoratives, they would not have been sold in 'sets' over the counter.
I guess you've seen these FDC's already (stamps printed by Enschede, FDC produced by Benham):

Thanks guys ..A FDC was printed by Cotswold in 1997 but is not available according to another UK stamp collector. I`m assuming that this was a private printing not Royal Mail.Does anyone have any information about Cotswold or Benham? Cheryl

These aren't mine. I found these for you here:

They do have these in blocks of four on similar covers.

True Bobby but I believe that some other Stamporama members may have benefited from all this info shared. I know that I have learned SO much indirectly because of the exchanging of discussions/ stamping information that others have shared That is what makes Stamporama unique for the novice collector like myself....

I am asking for help locating a website or a source that shows the FDC of 1997 GB castle series. I am told that each stamp was placed on its own FDC and released on different dates. Were they also released as a set stamps or all stamps on a FDC ? I see stamps on ebay but they are dated as 1994 and a single FDC for 3pound for 1995..Please help if you can....Cheryl
