When this section, Stamp Approvals Notes and Notices was first added I remember it had a one ad at a time limit. I know that was changed awhile ago which I thought was OK. However, lately it is almost as hard to go thru the posts to find what you are looking for than it is just to go thru the approval books listings itself. I never have more than 2 posts up within the 14 day window at one time. I used to include a list of all of my books in one posting but that too became cumbersome to change all of the time. I had one regular buyer ask me to send him a message when I have something new coming up that he may be interested in instead of looking for my posting in the section. I think there should be some limit set not 1 or 2 maybe but something reasonable. Steve

People can subscribe to a specific seller. They will receive an email every time that seller posts a new approval book.

Regarding the matter that you raised, I have been a little slow removing expired ads due to family issues. The currently listed ads are now all within the time periods allowed.

Looking at the active ads, I see where a few sellers tend to post an approval book, and then create an ad for it. Then they post another approval book (in the same day) and post another ad for it. I think that Classified Ads Rule #7 may cover that:

"7. Do not post individual classified ads for related items. Combine similar items into one ad. There is no limit to the number of items that may be included in a classified ad. "

If sellers create a single, combined ad to announce their new approval books for the day after they have posted all their books, that would reduce the number of approval book ads.

re: Stamp Approvals Notes and Notices Discussion Board Section

The buyer in question wants me to tell him well before the date I publish - so he can be ready to jump on it - if it is something he is interested in. I even tell him a time period during the day that I plan to publish.
It has been quite awhile now for me personally that anyone new has come along to buy from me - so I am not sure the classified works as well now as it used to - so I do not spend as much time on what I put up in the ad. I have my small group of regulars and semi regulars - which is perfectly fine with me !

Then that's your choice to go the extra mile (kilometer) for your customers. I'm sure they appreciate it, and your sales probably show an uptick for doing that.
